Leesa Hagan, a 52-year-old mom, recently had surgery to remove cancerous tumors from her stomach and colon. But before she started chemotherapy, she got a day to feel beautiful, with a hair and makeup makeover.

Hagen got a haircut to accentuate her natural curls, and makeup for a "pretty with a little dash of sexy" look. She was overcome with emotion when she saw her new look in the mirror, nearly breaking into tears as she thanked everyone responsible for her transformation.

"I think she looks absolutely beautiful--young and refreshed!" her friend gushed when Hagen emerged from her day at the salon.
