What songs would use to define President Obama's reelection campaign?

Obama/Biden 2012 wants to know, as it has once again taken to red-hot music startup Spotify to engage with Americans. The reelection campaign posted a call for song submissions on its website on Thursday, for a playlist that will be published on Spotify when it is compiled. The campaign is looking to create a "Winning Soundtrack for 2012," per its open request for submissions:

As we head into rally season, what music gets you fired up? Submit your favorite tracks below, and you could see them on the Obama 2012 Supporter Picks playlist on Spotify.

Again, this isn't the first time that the Obama campaign has used Spotify to spread its message and engage supporters. In February, the campaign published Barack Obama's first Spotify playlist, featuring songs by No Doubt, Wilco, and Earth, Wind & Fire; it also contained a song by Al Green whose title just might describe his reelection campaign: "Let's Stay Together."

Two Spotify playlists from the President of the U.S.A. in three months: That's a pretty good get for a music streaming service that has only been available in America since last July.

As we noted before, it's been a delightfully musical campaign already. President Obama has both sung Al Green and slow-jammed the news with Jimmy Fallon; Mitt Romney has "sung" a few verses of "God Bless America" on multiple campaign stops; and, as usual, several artists, including Survivor (of "Eye of the Tiger" fame) and K'naan have asked candidates to stop using their music.

On the celebrity musician endorsements side of things, Romney endorsers include Kid Rock, country star Trace Adkins, KISS frontman Gene Simmons, and, of course, hat-wearing troublemaker Ted Nugent. A horde of musicians, meanwhile, support Barack Obama.

Those musicians might pull their endorsements, however, if they fail to make Obama's reelection playlist on Spotify (probably not, actually). If you've got a song for Obama's campaign playlist, you can submit it here, on the President's website.
