It’s been a big year for Ed Sheeran. The red-haired British singer has teamed up with Taylor Swift on her “Red" Tour, written two hit songs for One Direction’s sophomore album “Take Me Home,” and his single “The A Team” has become a runaway hit worldwide. But it looks like Sheeran's success is about to get even bigger.

Not only is the 21-year-old singer-songwriter set to perform with British icon Elton John at the 2013 Grammy Awards, but “The A Team” is also nominated for Song of the Year, competing against Kelly Clarkson, Fun, Miguel and Carly Rae Jepsen.

In anticipation of the Grammy Awards this weekend, we wanted to share some of the reasons we love Ed and why we think he's a winner -- whether or not he's victorious on Sunday night.
