There's a new addition at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay: a baby aardvark.

Born to mom "Izzy" and dad " Friz" on March 26, the aardvark is receiving special treatment from members of the park's animal care team in Florida before it joins the rest of the family, according to the park's press release.

One day, the aardvark will become an Animal Ambassador for the park with its older brother "Zawadi," but until then, the baby is enjoying some behind-the-scenes TLC.

Currently, there are about 40 aardvarks in zoos across North America.

Earlier this year, a 4.5-pound baby aardvark was born at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. Additionally, the Antwerp Zoo in Belgium captured footage of a 2-week-old aardvark named "Swahili" taking its first steps.

Aardvarks, which are sometimes mistaken for "anteaters" are mostly nocturnal animals that use their feet and long claws to dig up insects such as termites, according to National Geographic.

We all love baby animals, but this little tyke might not be the cutest newborn in the world. (Shh, don't tell.) What do you think?
