A Scottish man appeared in court on Thursday after being accused of behaving too aggressively with a black pudding, STV News reports.

Bradley Davidson, 47, reportedly acted "in a threatening or abusive manner which was likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear and alarm," when he shouted and threw a black pudding across a room in his apartment in Perth on May 13.

He has been charged with one count of assault after allegedly kicking a 10-year-old girl, and one count of property damage after allegedly kicking down a door and shattering a glass panel, according to the BBC.

All three incidents reportedly occurred on the same day.

Davidson denied all charges, and is expected to return to court in October.

Black pudding, also known as blood sausage, is a pudding that is made from blood -- in the U.K, usually from a pig -- then stuffed into a sausage casing.
