Cristiano Ronaldo marcó un triplete por primera vez en la Liga de Campeones y el Real Madrid consiguió su segundo triunfo en la Liga de Campeones al aniquilar el miércoles 4-1 al Ajax, mientras que Manchester City complicó su clasificación tras igualar 1-1 con el Borussia Dortmund.

Además, el colombiano James Rodríguez marcó el gol con el que el Porto derrotó 1-0 el PSG y el Málaga del técnico chileno Manuel Pellegrini sigue en alza al vencer 3-0 al Anderlecht.

Cumplidas dos fechas en la fase de grupos, tres de los cuatro equipos españoles en competencia —Real Madrid, Málaga y Barcelona— lideran sus grupos con los deberes hechos a la perfección.

También el miércoles, Arsenal despachó 3-1 a Olympiakos y marca el paso en el Grupo B con el ideal de seis puntos.

Gracias a un autogol, el Milan superó 3-2 al Zenit de San Petersburgo y quedó como escolta del Málaga en el Grupo C.
