Darren Collison Buzzer Beater: Mavericks Guard Sends Game Into Overtime, But OKC Wins (VIDEO)

It's unlikely Rick Carlisle drew it up this way. But it's also unlikely he cares.

With Carlisle's Mavericks trailing the Thunder, 98-95, with 2.2 seconds remaining, Dallas' Shawn Marion tried getting the inbound pass to Vince Carter on the wing. But the ball was deflected. Marion pounced on the ball, quickly took one dribble and then passed it to Darren Collison, who was standing beyond the 3-point line.

Without time running out, Collison jumped as he caught the ball and threw up a wild shot in mid-air.

The officials reviewed the buzzer beater and confirmed that it was a made basket, sending the game into overtime.

Unfortunately for the Mavs, Russell Westbrook took over in the extra five minutes scoring eight of the team's 13 points as Oklahoma City went on to win 111-105.

Collison finished with 32 points and even though it didn't win the game, his buzzer beater was arguably the highlight of the game.
