Excellent news for fans of Taco Bell's Doritos Locos taco: The long-awaited Cool Ranch variety is coming out a day ahead of schedule on March 6.

Taco Bell made the announcement on its Facebook page, where it's already garnered a slew of positive comments and likes:

Considering Taco Bell's promotion for the new taco -- select fans were told to say a secret password at a Manhattan florist shop for a chance to sample it -- we imagine the chain hopes it will be as popular as the original Doritos Locos taco.

That offering quickly became Taco Bell's most popular product ever following its launch in select markets in 2011. The original launched nationally in March 2012. By early 2013, sales of Doritos Locos tacos topped $325 million.
