Ellen DeGeneres recently gave a lesbian military couple the surprise of their lives on the June 10 edition of her talk show.

The television host gifted the joyful active duty Air Force member and former Marine with $20,000 cash and an all-expenses-paid honeymoon trip to Turtle Island Resort in Fiji (worth $17,000).

The couple met at a bar, had a long distance relationship, fell in love and made plans to wed.

Short on funds, the two have been saving up for their dream wedding. One of the women even picked up an extra job delivering pizzas.
