Emily Estefan Shares A Clear Message In Her New Video 'F*cK To Be'

The daughter of legendary Emilio and Gloria Estefan released a video celebrating her individuality.

Anyone thinking they can tell Emily Estefan who the "F*ck To Be" would be clearly mistaken.

The 21-year-old Miami Beach daughter of legendary Cuban music artists Emilio and Gloria Estefan -- the Conga queen herself, recently released a music video that shows her determination to remain her true self.

In the video for "F*ck To Be," Estefan is seen unwillingly getting a series of makeovers that reflect societal pressures and gender stereotypes. Towards the end, she eventually asserts her individuality, in her own clothes and style.

"Many people think I am saying 'F' everything or everything sucks, but that is not true," Estefan told the Miami Herald in an interview." I go in and out of these very different looks in the video that I don’t necessarily like for myself, but that doesn’t mean that I frown upon them, it just means that it is not me.”

Estefan told Today in an April interview that her parents, who currently have a show on Broadway about their music career and love story, are "amazing golden footsteps to follow in."

However, a clip in Estefan's video where she rejects a newspaper headline that reads, "Gloria's Mini me" -- show's she's working to carve her own path.

Estefan was accepted to the Berklee College of Music in 2012 and made her singing debut at The Hollywood Bowl in 2014, Today reported

We're excited for the next generation of Estefan-greatness!
