Amigo Wiso...: Gracias por los recuerdos. Ignoraba que "Play Ball" siguiera en el aire. Me alegro que así sea, y te gradezco la información. Me siento feliz con tus recuerdos acerca de los comienzos del programa que hice durante 10 años. Muchas gracias.

Amigo Javo...: No. Incluso, hasta después de rodar la bola, si el bate sin intención del bateador, la contacta por segunda vez, es fair, siempre que esté adentro.

José M. Ferreira P. de Barquisimeto, pregunta...: "¿Por qué se llama Serie Mundial, si no participan las naciones de todo el Mundo?".

Amigo Cheché...: Escribiste "se llama", y la Serie Mundial no "se llama", sino más bien la llaman. Ahora, en Estados Unidos el término World Series o Serie Mundial, no quiere decir competencia mundial sino justa máxima de cualquier deporte. Por eso hay Series Mundiales de Grandes Ligas, de beisbol universitario, softbol, golf, de bridge y mucho más.

Carlos Herrera, de Santiago, Dominicana, dice y pregunta...: "En mi país, Dominicana, escucho y leo a narradores y periodistas, usar indistintamente el término suspendido para los juegos del beisbol profesional que no se juegan por las lluvias. También veo que ocurre lo mismo en Venezuela. ¿Qué es lo correcto pospuesto o suspendido?".

Amigo Chalo...: Eso es similar a los que dicen y escriben "partido de beisbol" por "juego de beisbol". ¿Utilizarán también "partido perfecto"? Pregunto yo, ¿no?. El beisbol es uno de dos deportes que se juegan sobre espacios no partidos en dos. Ahora, "suspendido" es el juego que se detiene, por ejemplo por lluvia o desperfecto del alumbrado o mal estado del terreno, y esperan se reanude ese mismo día o en fecha posterior, desde donde quedó. Y pospuesto es el juego cuyo comienzo se re-programa para fecha futura.
