NEW YORK -- Barack Obama might have the power to move the World Series for a few minutes.

To accommodate the half-hour Obama time buy that will air Oct. 29 on CBS and NBC, Fox Broadcasting is asking Major League Baseball to move the start time of World Series Game 6 by about 15 minutes. That would move the time from 8:20 p.m. or so ET to 8:35 p.m.

If a Game 6 is needed, Fox would be obligated to carry the game instead of joining CBS and NBC in running the commercial from the Obama campaign. It would also be saying goodbye to upward of $1 million in ad revenue for the half hour, more than what either CBS or NBC was charging.
