MSNBC's Dylan Ratiagn unleashed a tirade so intense Monday morning that "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough was forced to wonder if he had been using cocaine to hype himself up for the show.
"Can I ask you a question?" Scarborough said, interrupting Ratigan during his screed on capitalism. "Just between you and me, how many lines did you do before coming out here today?"
Ratigan laughed, shook his head, and mouthed, "Nothing" before continuing with his rant.
"There he goes!" Scarborough said while Donny Deutsch cracked up in the background. "I've been trying to read Absolom, Absolom by William Faulkner for the second time...do you know I've read more of it since you've been on here this morning than I did up on vacation?"
"I'm just in favor of capitalism," Ratigan said to defend himself. "I know it's crazy!"
Last week, Brian Williams joked with Willie Geist on "Way Too Early" that he starts his day with "bit of methamphetamine."
