Kevin Bacon On 'Footloose' Remake And 5 Stunt Doubles

Kevin Bacon's 5 Regrets In Original 'Footloose'
|

As the remake of 1984’s "Footloose" opened in theaters Friday, actor Kevin Bacon told People.com that watching an unearthed video of his audition tape from the original “Footloose” movie “was like a weird time-travel, out-of-body type thing.”

In his interview with People, Bacon, 53, said he did the majority of the dancing in "Footloose" except for the famous warehouse scene that used five stunt doubles:

"Are you kidding? I was furious," Bacon says with a smile. "It's like a starting pitcher getting taken out of a game – no one wants to be told they can't get the guy out.”

The 2011 remake starring Post50s Dennis Quaid and Andie MacDowell and newcomers Julianne Hough and Kenny Wormald is now in theaters.
