SACRAMENTO.— Justo cuando las licencias de manejo para los inmigrantes indocumentados estaban más cerca que nunca de lograrse, el esfuerzo legislativo se vino abajo en horas y murió por este año.

“No sólo fueron los sindicatos sino la división entre los grupos inmigrantes los que causaron que retirara mi proyecto de ley este año”, dijo Luis Alejo, el asambleísta demócrata de Salinas y autor de la AB60.
