Neil Young's 66th Birthday: 10 Best Musical Moments
|

Neil Young was born November 12, 1945 in Toronto, Canada, and his songwriting and music performances have been delighting American audiences since the mid-60s. Young's work spans not only many years but multiple genres -- acoustic folk songs in the 60s and 70s, punk and new wave-inspired sounds in the 80s, and back to an acoustic sound in the 90s that caused him to be dubbed the "Grandfather of Grunge." In 1995 Young was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, described as "one of rock and roll’s greatest songwriters and performers."

In honor of Neil Young's birthday, we put together a commemorative slideshow of his best musical moments. Which is your favorite?
