Nelson Mandela ya descansa en su última morada. Sus restos morales llegaron a su pueblo natal de Qunu, en el sureste de Sudáfrica.

El cortejo fúnebre fue saludado por miles de personas en el trayecto desde el aeropuerto de Mthatha a Qunu.

El avión Hercules C-130 con el féretro de Mandela, cubierto con la bandera sudafricana, fue recibido por asistentes en duelo, así como por su viuda, Graça Machel, en el aeropuerto de Mthatha, indicó la agencia EFE.
