When Kent Yoshimura declares that the best things in life are free, he isn’t kidding.

In a video posted Tuesday, the L.A.-based artist and filmmaker takes advantage of a cornucopia of free birthday meals offered by restaurants.

He starts modestly enough with a free Grand Slam Breakfast from Denny’s and continues his gratis gluttony through the likes of Red Robin, Johnny Rockets, Hooters (twice) and more.

He put the total cost value of his birthday pig-out at $94.54. That’s enough to put a smile on anyone’s face. 

“It took us from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. and the food coma set in by 11 a.m.,” Yoshimura told The Huffington Post on Thursday. “In regards to my stomach, some things are better left unsaid.”

Happy birthday anyway, Kent, and here’s to many more ... freebies.
