Kicking off with the Emmy Awards, this week was bound to be filled with style standouts.

Kerry Washington lit up the Emmy Awards red carpet in a sparkly Vivienne Westwood gown. Although the "Scandal" actress wasn't nominated for any awards, she definitely won best-dressed honors in our book.

It's rare that a week goes by and we don't have a favorite style moment from Solange Knowles--and this week was no different. The singer/DJ/model/mom was over in Italy hanging with the fashion set during Milan Fashion Week. In between attending a few choice fashion presentations, the "Losing You" singer was also on hand for the 2012 amfAR Milano Gala. Solange opted for a stunning white Rubin Singer gown that was complemented perfectly by a bold red lip and teased-out afro.

Last but definitely not least, Laila Ali makes our list after stepping out at the 27th Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner to benefit the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis. Laila, who wore in a bright orange drapped frock, was joined by other hard bodies such as Shaquille O'Neal and Lisa Leslie for the awesome cause.

Here's a look at those lovely ladies and more of the week's style standouts in the slideshow below.
