After an 18 hour flight from Afghanistan to Wisconsin, Staff Sergeant Monica Terry was on a mission: to surprise her children at their elementary school.
WISTV reports Terry saved her vacation days over the last eight months, so she could make it home for Thanksgiving.
When Terry found her third-grade daughter Morgan in the school cafeteria, it was a tearful reunion.
