Gov. Chris Christie's endorsement of Donald Trump for the Republican nomination for President gives an entirely new meaning to the concept of "Bully Pulpit." Instead of the Presidency being a platform for appealing to our better nature, this team would lead us down pathways of fear, hatred and exclusion most hoped were part of our distant past. If only Theodore Roosevelt were still here to remind his Republican progeny what he meant.
