Trailer For "Bad Brains: Band In DC" Will Premier At Sundance Film Festival

Bad Brains Isn't Banned In DC Anymore

Fans of the legendary Washington, DC-based Black punk group Bad Brains are eagerly awaiting Mandy Stein and Benjamen Logan's documentary "Band in DC." As you can see from the trailer above, the madcap film follows the trials and tribulations of the band from its inception in 1979 until today; thirty years later, the band is remarkably still together. How did they do it?

The film will premier at South by Southwest on March 12 at Vimeo Theater, and will show until March 17th at Alamo Village in Austin. Bad Brains will be on tour in the spring; the Brooklyn show is already sold out, but there are still tickets for Boston, DC and Philadelphia. The band is also playing at Bonaroo Music and Arts Festival in June, for those of you willing to make the trip to Manchester...Tennessee.

Starring: HR, Darryl Jenifer, Dr. Know, Earl Hudson, Sid McCray & Anthony Countey
