Some conversations should stay in the locker room.
Police in Winnipeg, Canada, apologized after officers on helicopter patrol Monday evening unintentionally broadcast their candid conversation over a loudspeaker as they flew over the city's West End neighborhood.
Locals told Canada's Global News that it sounded as if the conversation, which included expletives and sexual language, was taking place right behind them.
Winnipeg resident Brandi Armstrong was outside with her husband when the helicopter hovered by. She told the CBC that she heard one officer ask, "Can you give me a blowjob?" Another officer replied, "You have too much body hair." Armstrong wants the officers involved to be disciplined.
People took to Twitter to discuss the chopper chatter. Some were offended, while others just found it funny. The hashtag "#whoops" trended in Winnipeg the night of the incident.
Police included the hashtag in an apology tweet.
Police said they're reviewing the episode.
