Bank Teller's Bad Spanish Skills Thwart Attempted Robbery

A bank teller's inability to translate Spanish helped thwart a bank robbery in San Antonio on Tuesday.

A suspect walked into a bank and asked for a teller who spoke Spanish, and then handed the teller a deposit slip with the words "dame dinero" written on it.

Although that's Spanish for "give me money," the teller thought it said "Damien" and started looking up accounts under that name.
