An 18-year-old Texas woman was arrested in Connecticut after allegedly filing a false rape report.

Chastity Angel Plummer called police on Saturday from the Hyatt Hotel in Greenwich and claimed that a guest there had raped her.

Responding investigators found that the woman made the story up because she was working as a prostitute and wasn't paid in full, News 12 Connecticut reports.

Plummer was charged with falsely reporting an incident, prostitution, and interfering with a police officer. She was held on $10,000 bond, according to Greenwich police. She's scheduled to appear in court Dec. 22.

This isn't the first prostitution arrest at the Hyatt in Greenwich. In 2011, Greenwich police busted 13 people in a prostitution sting at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

"It is a widespread problem throughout this area that is not specific to Greenwich," Capt. Mark Marino, who oversaw the crackdown, told Greenwich Time following the sting.
