I see that The Hotline picked up on my pal David Corn's good-natured griping over having had his serious post on religion in politics bumped from the Huffington Post "penthouse" atop The Blog by Greg Gutfeld's hilarious post on his non-sexual fantasies about rescuing celebrities. C'mon, David, that's what happens on a group blog. Besides, your first person account of the mad scramble to evacuate the Capitol was put in the news headline section -- aka our Presidential Suite (I notice that you failed to avail yourself of the $5 bag of Famous Amos cookies in the mini bar -- but not the $11 pay per view "adult programming").

The mixing of the serious-minded with the silly, the grave with the entertaining, is going to be a hallmark of this site. We're going to deal with Iraq and Revenge of the Sith. Bolton and Botox. The UN and the WB. Welcome to the HuffPost -- it's blogging, baby. By the way, what did you do with Byron York's gym bag?
