Eric Bolling, Fox 'The Five' Co-Host, Slams 'Dummy' Jon Stewart

Fox Host Slams 'Dummy' Jon Stewart

Well, that didn't take long.

On Wednesday night, Jon Stewart called Fox News Channel "The Five" co-host Eric Bolling "the dumb guy" while interviewing one of the show's other hosts, Dana Perino. On Thursday, Bolling fired back during his show's "One More Thing" segment.

"It’s kind of sad, the guy is so obsessed with hating Fox News that he spent a lot of the time taking shots at us, especially me. Apparently, I'm living rent-free inside Stewart's head. Whatever, Jonny boy. Your time would've been better spent talking to Dana about her book. It's great. It's optimistic. It's positive. It's upbeat. Had you done your homework, you might have learned something... dummy.”

“You showed him, Eric,” co-host Greg Gutfeld said.

"It's on. The ping-pong is happening!" added Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Bolling was referring to Perino's book, "And the Good News Is...," which she was on the "The Daily Show to promote. However, she and Stewart spent much of the time talking about "The Five" instead.

Bolling and Stewart have something of a feud going on. Stewart has repeatedly lampooned "The Five," and Bolling has taken to the air to fire back at both Stewart and Stephen Colbert, who had also lampooned the show on "The Colbert Report."
