You Can Own The Banshee From Grand Theft Auto For Only $170,000

If you see this bad ass sports car stopped at an intersection, you may open the door, punch its driver in the face, steal it and then crash it into the nearest building — as long as you're playing Grand Theft Auto.

A real-life, one-of-a-kind Banshee Bravado, made famous by the GTA series, is listed on eBay for a cool $170,000. A mom won it in a contest put on by GameStop, and while the "wonderfully fast and loud sports car turns heads," she wants to sell it to fund her sons' college degrees.

It's actually a Dodge Viper SRT-10, modified inside and out by Rockstar Games and West Coast Customs in California. If you want to own a piece of gaming history, and can scrounge together the money by June 5, please buy this, and bring it to New York so we can drive it.

Here are some of the customizations, according to Rockstar:

"Significant work went into creating this real world version of the 2013 model featured in Grand Theft Auto V. Utilizing state-of-the-art fabrication technologies, molds for the exterior were cut and machined piece-by-piece for the high performance base vehicle. With these molds each panel was laid out by hand to create an entirely new exterior resulting in a screen accurate reproduction of the Banshee."

Here's the bad boy in-game:
