Kobe Bryant On Serge Ibaka Cheap Shot: 'I Probably Would Have Smacked Him In The Mouth'

Kobe's Reaction To Ibaka's Low Blow

The Lakers-Thunder game in Oklahoma City on Tuesday night has become much more interesting.

Kobe Bryant saw Serge Ibaka's low blow on Blake Griffin over the weekend and told the Los Angeles Times how he would have handled it.

"I probably would have smacked him in the mouth," Kobe said, via Mike Bresnahan of the L.A. Times. "I would have dealt with the pain afterward."

When Ibaka hit Griffin in the groin on Sunday, Griffin dealt with the pain right away and fell to the ground.

The Thunder center was handed a flagrant foul type 1. Some on Twitter were surprised that he didn't receive a flagrant foul type 2, which would have resulted in an ejection. The NBA hasn't responded to the flagrant foul.

Fans on Twitter were even more surprised when J.J. Barea got ejected on Monday for shoving Ray Allen, comparing that incident to Ibaka's foul.
