Londres .- El equipo mexicano de tiro con arco se quedó hoy en el límite de ganar la medalla de bronce en el torneo de los Juegos Olímpicos 2012, al caer ante Corea del Sur por marcador de 224-219, en el Lord's Cricket Ground de esta ciudad.
Los mexicanos, quienes salieron un poco desconcentrados luego de perder en la ronda anterior ante Italia, no pudieron hacer historia después que Corea impuso su calidad y mejor concentración para quedarse con la presea de bronce.
Aunque Juan René Serrano, Luis Antonio Álvarez y Luis Eduardo Vélez brindaron una gran actuación ante los italianos y coreanos, sus descuidos y falta de concentración les hizo caer al final en ambos duelos.
Los coreanos lograron parciales a su favor de 57-52 y 55-53, por los 56-57 y 56-57 de los mexicanos, cuyo trabajo no fue suficiente para darles alcance en el total definitivo.
La medalla de oro se la disputan los equipos de Estados Unidos e Italia.
