Rachel Maddow dissected what she called Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's growing rage, saying that he has been transformed into a "one-man rage bot," and comparing him to the Incredible Hulk.

Reid made headlines last week after he announced that an unnamed source told him that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney did not pay taxes for ten years.

Maddow said that people were "understandably judgmental" about Reid's tactics. She added that the Senate majority leader received criticism for his claim from "left, right, center, and stupid in the case of PolitiFact," the fact-checking website for which Maddow has no patience.

Maddow dedicated a segment on her Monday MSNBC show to chronicle Reid's rage over the recent past, first highlighting how the Senate majority leader used to say very angry things without sounding the least bit angry.

Maddow noted that "something seems to have activated a major case of Reid-rage" recently. Reid started to actually sound somewhat miffed when he said that he was "so upset" that Team USA's Olympic uniforms were made in China that they should all be put in a pile and burned.

"Suddenly, Harry Reid who is usually a mild-mannered person, even when he's saying very angry things...but suddenly, Reid sounds angry," Maddow said.

Maddow then played a "gem" of a clip, showing Reid speaking on the Senate floor outraged over the budget, leaning over the podium and using the word "poppycock" to stress his frustration.
