The Ironman World Championship in Kona, HI would not be complete without the running famous "Underwear Run". Almost as ubiquitous as Spain's running with the bulls, the Underwear Run gives athletes the chance to blow off a little steam (and wear very little at that) before the big day.

Truly a spectacle of fit bodies and questionable minds, this annual event raises money for local Kona charities, while clogging traffic in downtown Kona. The short 1 mile run with periodic stops for "stretches" and "exercises"...leaves little to the imagination. Click on the link below for a photo gallery.
