Shakira is back on “The Voice” and this season the boys aren’t cutting her any slack -- but the Colombian star is ready to fight back.

This week, the 37-year-old singer settled right back into her revolving red chair alongside celebrity coaches Adam Levine, Usher and Blake Shelton for the debut of the Emmy-winning series’ sixth season. The four stars duked it out for the most promising contestants during the blind auditions -- oaths were taken, hearts were broken and Adam Levine gave fans his hilarious take on Shakira.

Starbucks barista Delvin Choice, 24, got a second chance on stage during the Tuesday night’s blind auditions. The South Carolina native had no chairs turn for him after his rendition of Ne-Yo’s “Closer” in season five and was told by the Maroon 5 frontman to return this year with a more emotive song.

All four coaches turned after hearing Choice’s performance of Donny Hathaway’s “A Song For You” -- but Shakira wasn’t ready to give up so easily.

“You are the singer I have been waiting for, and look at this hand right here,” the Colombian singer told Choice. “I, Shakira Mebarak, born in Barranquilla, Colombia, solemnly swear that I am going to take you to the top in this competition.”

Thankfully, neither was Adam Levine, who put on his best Latino accent and gave the coaches and the audience his best (and most hilarious) impression of Shakira.

“I promise you, Adam Noah Levine from Los Angeles, California. I’m going to take you to the top. I solemnly swear -- No problem. You come to my team, okay?”

Shakira quickly broke down into a laughing fit but later reacted to the joke via Twitter.

In an effort to snatch away the soulful singer, Usher also gave Shakira a hard time.

“Many people raise their hands and swear under oath but they are lying,” the “Without You” singer said. “I raise my hand and I promise to tell you the whole truth even if it is horrible, I will be honest with you because I want you to be great.”

But the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer wasn’t about to take that accusation sitting down, literally.

“No, no, hey my hips don't lie, and I don’t lie either! Okay? The rest of me doesn’t lie either!” Shakira quickly retorted as she stood on her chair wagging her finger.

Check out the excerpt of the hilarious exchange above and find out who Choice chose as his coach.
