Fuentes relacionadas con la investigación que intensifica el Buró Federal de Investigaciones (FBI) indicaron que las bombas de las explosiones de Boston fueron hechas con ollas a presión y balines esféricos de metal, indicó CNN.
El FBI junto a otras agencias federales como el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional, la Oficina para el Alcohol, Tabaco y Armas de Fuego y Explosivos (ATF), así como la Guardia Nacional están activamente tras las pistas de el responsable o responsables del evento terrorista, que hasta el momento ha dejado tres muertos y más de 170 heridos.
Las bombas fueron fabricadas de manera casera, según las fuentes, y eran pequeños artefactos que detonaban a través de un medidor. Las autoridades están revisando las cámaras de vigilancia que se encontraban en las zonas de seguridad.
