It's good to be king.
New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist made a brief appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" the night before the 2012 NHL lockout had officially come to an end.
During Fallon's latest "Thank You Notes" segment, the 2012 Vezina winner took the audience into a commercial break with a blaring guitar solo, playing the lead on Guns N' Roses' "Sweet Child O' Mine" along with The Roots.
Being in front of a camera again, it may have been a good thing that Lundqvist decided to chose a guitar over a microphone.
The Rangers open their season schedule this Saturday in Boston before hosting the Penguins on Sunday at Madison Square Garden.
