Hungry Man Chased By Police Stops At In-N-Out Burger

He just couldn't shake authorities.

Forget outstanding warrants, this guy has an outstanding appetite.

The suspect in an Arizona car chase took an unexpected detour on Wednesday, stopping at the drive-thru of an In-N-Out Burger as he attempted to elude authorities.

Deputies in Phoenix attempted to arrest 35-year-old Joshua Adkins, who had an outstanding warrant, AZ Central reports.

Police, hungry for justice, say they began tracking Adkins with a helicopter after he failed to comply with authorities.

Unfortunately for Adkins, the food was not fast enough. Helicopter footage shows Adkins appear to order a meal, only to drive away empty handed.

Police eventually arrested Adkins on suspicion of unlawful flight from law enforcement, aggravated assault-domestic violence and unlawful imprisonment, according to Fox 10 Phoenix.
