Khloe Kardashian Auctions Off Used Workout Gear, Other Items For Charity

Khloe Kardashian is airing her dirty laundry, but this time we're OK with it.

The "X-Factor" judge and reality TV star is auctioning off hundreds of used clothing items on her eBay site to benefit Cathy’s Kids, her husband’s charity that helps underprivileged kids.

Khloe tweeted her excitement: “New year, new wardrobe! http://is.gd/khlomar” on Jan. 7 promoting the charity auction.

While several websites reported that an 'Under Armour Heat Gear White Sport Bra Size M' was one of the unusual items listed, it has since been removed. According to entertainmentwise.com, the sports bra was going for $5.50 and had six eager bidders yesterday, the news outlet reported.

But the sports bra wasn’t the only sweat-stained workout item listed for the charity auction. Khloe, 28, has donated Active Basic yoga pants, a blue Reebok EasyTone tanktop and even a pair of Nike Livestrong black and yellow shorts for the cause. Two pairs of pajamas are also being auctioned off.

Cathy’s Kids, founded by Lamar Odom in 2004 helps underprivileged children living in urban centers like Los Angeles and New York City. The foundation also raises funds for cancer research and care, according to the organization’s website.

The eBay charity auction does not indicate how much of the proceeds benefit Odom’s charity. Last year, Kim Kardashian’s eBay auction for the Dream Foundation drew attention after just 10 percent of the proceeds benefited the wish-granting organization, FoxNews.com reported.

“Many times the public assumes that all the proceeds go to charity and not the celebrity,” Glenn Selig, President and CEO of Selig Multimedia, told Fox News. “But that is often not the case. The public should never assume that 100 percent goes to charity.”

Some of the highest bidding items include a Chaser Grey top for $360, a Wildfox gray knit sweater for $202.50 and a Jimmy Choo blue leather purse for $197.50.
