Prince Royce fans have been clogged up the iTunes store all day yesterday, downloading tracks from his new "Soy El Mismo" album. The bachata crooner has been heavily hyping his latest release and even offered fans a track-by-track breakdown.
Speaking with Billboard, Royce explained what makes Mismo stand out.
“This album is like a reflection of everything,” he told the mag. “On a personal level, on a career level, on a music level…we put in a lot of work into this album. I’m so excited to see everything finally put together.”
Prince also said that he experimented a lot with the album. He explained how he blended English and Spanish elements together, as well as a variety of musical styles.
And by the looks of things, Mismo is off to a very good start. Its first single, “Darte un Beso,” has already topped the Billboard Latin Songs chart for three weeks straight.
