Roger Federer cumplió años y lo hizo rodeado de cientos de felicitaciones.

El tenista celebró su aniversario número 32 el día de ayer en Mason, Ohio, en donde se encuentra preparándose para participar la próxima semana en el Western & Southern Open.

Esta mañana el suizo compartió a través de su cuenta de Facebook una fotografía con su pastel acompañado de un mensaje en el que les decía a sus fanáticos que lo había pasado muy bien ayer y les agradecía por sus felicitaciones. "¡Gracias por todos sus deseos de cumpleaños! Tuve un gran día ayer. Tengo suerte de tener a los mejores fans del mundo...".

Y aunque Roger no ha tenido la mejor temporada de su vida –en Wimbledon, por ejemplo, quedó eliminado sorpresivamente en segunda ronda–, es verdad que sus fanáticos nunca lo abandonan.

A través de su cuenta de Twitter, Federer agradeció a sus seguidores de @tennisfangirl y @teamfederinka que le hicieron un conmovedor video para felicitarlo. En el clip aparecían cientos de pancartas con fotografías y dibujos del ganador de 17 Grand Slams, así como mensajes llenos de amor y buenos deseos.

Hace una semana una historia sobre Roger Federer se hizo viral en las redes sociales, y es que una adolescente sobreviviente de cáncer reveló la historia de cómo el tenista le cumplió sueño de conocerlo y cómo fue que durante todo una día la chica pudo convivir y hasta entrenar con su ídolo.

A pesar de que sus últimas derrotas lo han hecho descender hasta el quinto lugar del ranking de la ATP, Forbes recientemente publicó que Roger Federer es el segundo atleta mejor pagado del mundo, ubicándose únicamente detrás del golfista Tiger Woods. Entre junio de 2012 y junio de 2013, Federer ganó un total de $71.5 millones, de los cuales, 65 millones son por concepto de patrocinios y publicidad.
