Ben Roethlisberger is catching criticism from seemingly every direction. Jim Carrey mocked him over the weekend. Even after announcing that no sexual assault charges would be filed against the Steelers quarterback, the district attorney looking into the case blasted Roethlisberger to the press.
Now someone closer to the NFL -- and the Steelers organization -- is ramping up their public disparagement of Big Ben. Terry Bradshaw, the four-time Super Bowl champion who spent his entire pro quarterback career with the Steelers, came clean about Roethlisberger to KTBS.
The FOX NFL analyst opened his remarks by announcing that "our relationship is not any good." Continuing, he laid into Roethlisberger for recklessly crashing his motorcycle in 2006. "When I told him to park the motorcycle, he got pissed. Alright? Then he had the accident. And since then, there's, you know... he doesn't like me, and I'm learning not to like him."
Bradshaw also contrasted his lifestyle with that of Roethlisberger, who has managed to compile two sexual assault accusations in less than one year. "I hardly ever went a club -- ever -- in 14 years in Pittsburgh. Count 'em on one hand. I was petrified of the problems you can get into. And I almost got into... it's there, believe me."
Roethlisberger could still face a suspension, and there are indications that he avoided a criminal case by possibly reaching a confidential settlement with his accuser. Scroll down to watch all of Bradshaw's comments.
