Thomas Bjorn got off to a rough start to the British Open at Muirfield on Thursday and it might cost him. With just his second shot of the tournament, the Danish golfer destroyed an ESPN camera lens after hitting out of the rough.
While the camera was shown completely cracked, ESPN announcer Mike Tirico said that the lens costs $80,000 and joked that a bill will be sent to Denmark. ESPN's "NFL Live" host Trey Wingo thought it would cost slightly less than Tirico claimed.
Bjorn ended up with a double-bogey on the hole and finished 1-over par on the front nine.
