WASHINGTON, D.C.- Trabajadoras sexuales sin suficientes condones para protegerse. Un problema amplio, en al menos cuatro de las principales ciudades de Estados Unidos. Así lo indicó un nuevo reporte difundido por Human Rights Watch (HRW).

A pesar del riesgo por contagio de enfermedades de transmisión sexual y el virus VIH, cerca de 200 trabajadoras encuestadas en Los Ángeles, Nueva York, San Francisco y Washington DC, reconocieron que no portaban más de dos ó tres condones, por miedo a ser arrestadas por cargos de prostitución. Un escenario que expertos definen como la punta del iceberg.
