Christie Brinkley Really Knows How To Celebrate Turning 62

Flowers, family photos and more.

Between a night out, a "very nice compliment" and a lot of love from her family, Christie Brinkley sure knows how to celebrate a birthday.

The model turned 62 on Feb. 2, and People reports she celebrated in New York City with a "romantic dinner" with her boyfriend, John Mellencamp.

Even though it was her big celebration, Brinkley wished everyone "a colorful day" on Instagram with a photo of flowers. She also posted a screenshot of a Page Six article with the headline, "Christie Brinkley looks nowhere near 62." (Sounds about right.)

"Thank you Page Six! You sure know what to give a girl on her 62nd birthday...a very nice compliment!" she wrote in the caption.

To top it all off, the model's daughters gave their mom a shout-out on her special day. Alexa Ray Joel wished Brinkley a happy birthday with a photo of her and a cake along with the hashtags #HappyBirthdayMamacita and #ATopTen. Her other daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook, decided to celebrate with a few throwback photos on Instagram.

"Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman I know!!" she wrote in one of the photo's captions.

Happy belated birthday, Christie!
