So You CAN Catch Crabs On The Subway!

Passengers shellshocked.

These subway riders can literally pinch your wallet.

Commuters at the Gateshead Metro station in England were treated to the odd site of crabs ambling along the platform and in an open subway car Thursday. ChronicleLive reported a passenger was carrying the crabs in a plastic bag when it broke, but the passenger did not return to claim them.

The surviving crabs were reportedly taken to Blue Reef Aquarium in Tynemouth.

Now we understand the critters didn't pay the fare, but is that any reason to kick them?
