The Creighton Bluejays were on fire right from the start on Monday night and the No. 4 Villanova Wildcats couldn't cool them off. Creighton ended up breaking a Big East record with 21 3-pointers in their 96-68 win over Jay Wright's Wildcats.
The unranked Bluejays started the game draining its first nine three-point attempts, seven of which were made by Ethan Wragge. A senior forward, Wragge never took a field goal attempt from inside the three-point arc, hitting nine of his 14 attempts and finishing with 27 points. Star sharpshooter Doug McDermott knocked down five of his eight attempts and finished with 23 points.
"Once I get one, they know I'm hunting for two and three," Wragge said after the game, per the Associated Press. "It's a hard feeling to describe once you get one to go in. You just kind of let it fly and don't think about it."

Thankfully, Gus Johnson was there to call the game.
