If there were such an organization as Posterized Anonymous then this might be how the next meeting starts, with the Minneosta Timberwolves' 26-year-old Montenegrin center introducing himself to a small group that included Timofey Mozgov and Kendrick Perkins.
Seeing as how PA does not yet exist, Pekovic may not have anyone to commiserate with after getting demolished by Harrison Barnes. The Golden State Warriors' rookie rose up and over Pekovic to throw down what may turn out to be the "dunk of the year" on Saturday night in Oakland.
The emphatic one-handed slam capped a strong showing from the No. 7 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. Barnes finished with 10 points and 11 boards as the Warriors won 96-85.
After the game, Barnes described the authoritative slam as being "by far" the best dunk of his life, via Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group. The reactions on Twitter seemed to validate that belief.
