Ichiro Suzuki seems ready for "Dancing With The Stars" whenever he hangs up his spikes. The 38-year-old star showcased his footwork with an incredible "slide" into home plate for the Yankees' first run of Game 2 of the ALDS.
With Ichiro on first base with two outs in the top of the first, Robinson Cano crushed a 90-mph fastball from Wei-Yin Chen to the right-field wall. O's right fielder Chris Davis retrieved it quickly and fired it to second baseman Robert Andino. As Ichiro rounded second, Yankees third base coach Rob Thomson waved him home.
Andino's throw to O's catcher Matt Wieters got there well before the 10-time All Star. But Ichiro somehow dodged Wieters' first attempt to tag him and overran the plate. Wieters crawled across the plate to try to tag him again, but Ichiro dodged him again and touched the plate.

Orioles manager Buck Showalter argued that Ichiro had been tagged at some point during the play, but (as ESPN's Buster Olney pointed out) Wieters' reaction seemed to signal that Ichiro had touched the plate untagged.
