Jack Shea Buzzer Beater: U-32 Beats Montpelier With Amazing Shot (VIDEO)

High School Teams Wins On Stunning Full Court Buzzer Beater

Defeating one's intra-city rival on a buzzer-beating shot is enough to make a great week for any high school hoops team. But U-32 raised the bar by nailing a pair of dramatic game-winning shots over the same rival in the span of three days. Days after defeating Montpelier with a shot in the final seconds, senior Jack Shea sunk a buzzer-beater from nearly full court to lock up U-32's second stunning victory.

On Wednesday, Montpelier tied the week's second meeting between the Vermont teams with a running layup with three seconds remaining. But U-32, ranked 22nd in the state, quickly inbounded the ball to Shea, who took one dribble and launched a shot that banked in at the buzzer. It was the second thrilling win for U-32 of the week and extended the team's win streak to nine games.

On Monday, U-32's Calvin McEathron nailed a 15-footer in the final seconds to beat Montpelier 49-48.

"I think a lot of us were pretty shocked, happening twice in one week. And the best part about it was the win,” Shea said, via the Burlington Press. "As soon as I let it go, I thought it had the right distance and the right power. It felt pretty good in the air, but I was nervous it was going to hit the ceiling at first."

And I thought Shebazz Napier'z game-winner was from long distance..
