A teenager convicted of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old boy with a "Star Wars" light saber at the home of a baby sitter while other children watched was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Friday in Riverside, Calif.

Javier Enrique Perez was 16 when he bent the younger child over a kitchen table in 2008 and assaulted him with a toy while he screamed in pain, according to The Orange County Register.

Perez, now 19, enlisted an eight-year-old boy in the attack, forcing the youngster to penetrate the victim with his hand, according to the Orange County District Attorney's office, which charged him as an adult.

A jury convicted Perez in May of one felony count of sexual penetration by foreign object by force, one felony count of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and two felony counts of forcible lewd acts on a child.

Oscar Antoniel Arreola, 22, was present during the attack, and originally denied to police that the incident happened, according to The Register. He was convicted for accessory after the fact and sentenced to 180 days behind bars.
