La célebre atleta paraguaya, Leryn Franco, quedó fuera de la final de lanzamiento de jabalina en los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres 2012, este martes, lejos de la cima en el puesto 18 del grupo B con una marca de 51,45 metros.

Como una de las deportistas latinas más llamativas por su gran belleza, la guarní fue centro de atención de su prueba, pero no pudo mejorar el rendimiento que tuvo en su pasada experiencia olímpica en Beijing 2008.

Fue una amarga jornada para Latinoamérica que vio como todas sus representantes quedaron fuera: lsleidys Menéndez, Yainelis Ribeaux, Laia Ferer e Silva y Flor Ruiz.

Barbora Spotakova de República Checa con 72,28 metros fue la mejor de la jornada.
